Dr. Veronica Damian

Instructor

Registered Veterinarian (Australia and Mexico)

Veronica studied a Bachelor in Veterinary Science at UNAM Mexico. (Honours and University Medal) and a Master in Veterinary Studies (Radiology) at The University of Melbourne NVE (2008)

She is Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVSc Radiology) 2009, Australasian Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging since 2003 and American Colleage of Veterinary Radiology since 2003.

She is founder and director of Soundiagnosis, a Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound company for small animal practices in Melbourne Australia where she has trained all the vets within the team. She has been performing Diagnostic Ultrasound since 2004 in Mexico City and since 2009 in Australia.

She was head of the Radiology Department at the University (UNAM Cuautitlan) in Mexico and has taught many veterinary students and graduates how to perform ultrasounds.


She also has given talks, seminars, webinars and workshops in Australia and overseas.

Her bubbly personality and passion for Ultrasound will make you fall in love of this Diagnostic modality.

Dr. Myriam Baranger-Ete

Instructor 

Registered Veterinarian (UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and France)

Myriam obtained her DVM degree from l’ Ecole Nationale Veterinaire d'Alfort (France), with an externship at the University of Montreal (Canada) and a Masters degree in Small Animal Veterinary Medicine (Internal Medicine & Diagnostic Imaging) at the European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies (University of Luxemburg).

 

She is Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (London),

l' Ordre National des Veterinaires (France), Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong and the AVA Singapore. She is an active Member of the European Society of Veterinary Cardiology, International Veterinary Ultrasound Society and Australasian Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

Myriam was Co-founder and Director of “Hong Kong Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound Service" (2013-2018),  “Asia Veterinary Diagnostics” (veterinary specialty laboratory) (2014-2018); and is now Director of  “International Veterinary Services” and “Singapore Veterinary Imaging”.

She has been providing Small Animal Mobile Ultrasound Referral Service and Ultrasound Education (Courses/ Workshops/ In-clinic training) over Asia since 2013.

Myriam has years of experience training veterinarians around the world in the area of Diagnostic Ultrasound, she is practical and  gives 1000% in every workshop and course she delivers. Her energetic and engaging personality will make you want to take more courses with her.

Dr. Phoebe Nunn

Instructor 

Registered Veterinarian (Australia)

Phoebe studied a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Melbourne, graduating in the class of 2013. Initially starting in mixed practice, Phoebe’s love of Diagnostic Ultrasound was sparked during her on call work. When she shifted to a large small animal hospital, she continued to see the benefits and numerous applications of Diagnostic Ultrasound in daily general practice life.

Phoebe pursued her love of ultrasound by joining Soundiagnosis, a Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound company in 2018, where she continues to work to this day.

She also remains in general practice and is currently completing her International Veterinary Ultrasound Society Certification.

Phoebe is thrilled to be part of Sound Academy. She loves teaching and is passionate about developing the confidence in veterinarians that will allow use them to use ultrasound daily in small animal practice.

Dr. Priscilla Foong

Instructor

Registered Veterinarian (Australia)

Priscilla majored in Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Melbourne, graduating in the class of 2009. She has a keen interest in Diagnostic Imaging in the discipline of Ultrasonography within the field of Internal medicine. She is a member with the Australasian Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, International Veterinary Ultrasound Society and is currently completing her International Veterinary Ultrasound Society Certificate.

 

She continues to develop skills in Ultrasonography working with Soundiagnosis, a mobile Veterinary Ultrasound service since 2014.

 

Additionally she continues to maintain an interest for internal medicine at a general practice, regularly attending online conferences and webinars.

 

Priscilla also has academic roles in training and up-skilling veterinarians in basic ultrasonography within Soundiagnosis and Soundiagnosis Academy.

Dr. Christine Baker

Instructor

Registered Veterinarian (Australia)

Education  Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours), University of Queensland 2010 ​ Practice Experience: Christine has worked in a variety of small animal general practices in Rockhampton, Brisbane and Melbourne since 2011.

 

She commenced training with Soundiagnosis in 2020. Her special interests are diagnostic imaging, small animal internal medicine and feline medicine.

 

Personal interests: Cooking, reading, tennis and travel. She has a very mischievous tortoiseshell cat called "Chitten".
