Dr Marina Ivančić has developed an international reputation for expertise in marine mammal and zoological diagnostic imaging and has an extensive record of publication and presentation in the veterinary, zoological, and radiological domains.
She was the first board-certified radiologist to concentrate on aquatic animal imaging, and the only radiologist to have worked full-time at a zoological institution. Marina was a clinical radiologist for the Brookfield Zoo from 2016-2020 and has provided radiology support for the Navy Marine Mammal Program since 2011.
Her experience in critical care-, anesthesia-, and surgery-associated diagnostic and interventional imaging of cetaceans is unmatched. Dr. Ivančić is the founder and owner of ZooRadOne, providing teleradiology services, scientific research collaboration, and on-site imaging guidance for facilities around the world.
